Harmonic choir

Vintage digital voice processor. Pitch-tracked harmony in five voicings — Octave, Fifth, Third, Scale, and Cluster — in a key you choose, with independent formant control so shifted voices stay human, never chipmunked, an era dial for 12-bit converter grain, plus Bloom, Drift, and Air.

Compex-style stress box

British vintage compressor-expander stress box: a soft-knee compressor and downward expander coupled by one stress link, wrapped in a 4-band program EQ and an oversampled drive stage. Aggressive when you push it, glued when you don't.

03 / Manifesto
Principles

We build the plugins we wished existed.

GDA is a small studio that ships audio software written from scratch in Rust. We don't licence DSP from middleware vendors and we don't dress up a stock compressor in a new skin. Every plugin we sell is engineered against a specific piece of hardware we care about — topology, behaviour under load, the way the meter actually moves — and built on a realtime-safe engine we wrote ourselves.

  1. 01 Hardware first. Each plugin starts from a piece of gear we wanted on every session and couldn't always afford in the room. The DSP follows the hardware, not the other way around.
  2. 02 Written in Rust, no shortcuts. The audio path is allocation-free and lock-free. An unwinding panic is caught at the plugin FFI boundary so it cannot take the host down. Same engine powers the CLAP and the VST3.
  3. 03 No subscriptions. Ever. One price. No subscription. Binary use is governed by the EULA on this site.
  4. 04 No copy-protection nag. No iLok, no online check, no telemetry. We'd rather earn the second purchase than punish the first.
  5. 05 One core, every format. The DSP, parameters, and presets are format-neutral. CLAP and VST3 today. AU is a planned future adapter over the same engine. AAX is not on the current roadmap.
  6. 06 Small studio, direct contact. You can email the person who wrote the code. We answer.

FAQ
01 What do I get? Closed Open

A signed download link sent to your email, valid for 72 hours. Each download is the macOS Apple Silicon build in both CLAP and VST3 formats. Windows and Linux are not shipping.

02 How do I pay? Closed Open

Card via Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and more. Crypto (USDC) is not available yet.

03 Can I get a refund? Closed Open

Within 14 days, no questions asked, as long as the binaries haven't been used commercially. Reply to the order email.

04 Lost your download link? Closed Open

The order email contains a re-issue link. Click it and we'll send a fresh 72-hour link.

05 What about a free trial? Closed Open

Not yet. We'd rather charge a fair price than ship a crippleware demo. If you're unsure, the 14-day refund is the trial.
